Can you see the tadpoles in the tank?

We are learning about Tadpoles and Frogs. We already know lots about them but some questions we are going to try to find answers to are: How do frogs breathe? How do tadpoles change into frogs? Where do frogs sleep? We think we will find the answers by going online, looking at books and asking someone who knows lots about frogs.

Last week Joshua brought in his pet mouse and parakeet. We wrote about them when we did our story writing. Here are some photos.

Welcome to Room 8 2011

Welcome to 2011 to all parents and children. We have had a great start to the year. All children are enthusiastic about their learning and I am looking forward to sharing in their learning journey. We have been talking about our family, our favourite foods, pets, and activities. We have made a quilt square to show these in pictures. The following photos show us working hard on our quilt square. We will put this together to have a class quilt. We have also been working on a scribble pattern. We have been trying hard to keep inside the lines and we are doing our best work. When all children have finished we will put this on the blog so you can see our fantastic work.
