Today we brought to school something that is precious to us. We shared with the others in the class. We showed respect towards one another while we were doing this. Here are some photos of us.

We have been doing some Irish Dancing. We have been counting 4 beats. Here are two different simple reels.

Mrs Devitt has also been to Fiji. We made some Tapa cloth patterns.

At the moment we have Mrs Devitt teaching in our classroom. She was born in Ireland and has been sharing some of the things that are the same in Ireland and New Zealand and things that are different. We made a Venn diagram that compared them. She bought in a traditional costume that she used to wear when she was young. On it are some beautiful celtic designs. We did some art work displaying one of the designs.
